With 40 years of drumming experience I teach drums in Cambridge or online. Lessons include theory and practice, playing solo, with bass and with software to directly show performance/improvement.

I was very fortunate to be taught by a truly great teacher, the famous Gianni Bertoncini. I’ve played drums and percussions in many philharmonic ensembles, rock bands and Latin American percussion groups. I publish free online drum content, like covers of songs, practice material and my own compositions. I have passed Trinity College London Rock&Pop Drum exam, grade 6, with distinction, with a score of 95/100.

My course includes notation reading, rhythm structures, strike techniques, rudiments, coordination, independence, musicality, feel and dynamics, practice strategies, creativity, improvisation and composition. We will work to advance all areas in parallel but focus on what is more needed. The first lesson is free.
