Jessica is a London based professional drummer currently known most as the drummer for heavy rock band HAWXX. When not touring or writing new music with HAWXX, she is involved with a number of other artists and performers such as the all female version of Slade ‘SLADY’ and jazz band ‘The Drawtones’. Having played professionally for over a decade she’s performed in an extremely broad range of musical genres and in legendary venues such as the O2 Academy’s and the UK’s most prestigious jazz venue ‘Ronnie Scott’s’. As well as touring she has performed on tracks that have been played on radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM, Gold, Kerrang and many others. As a teacher, Jessica is both passionate to share her love for drumming as well as challenge students to progress in an organised and tangible way with music notation and metronome practice. Whether you’re a complete beginner or would like to take your existing drumming skills to a professional level, Jessica has the technical knowledge and industry experience to get you on track to becoming the best drummer you can be.
Drum lessons are based at ‘Telegrafia’ in Hackney (also the home of London Music School) and include a mixture of the following subjects and practices, catered to the students specific goals…

– Jazz co-ordination and big band drumming

– Rudiments
– Professional skills (prep for sessions, touring, dep gigs etc)
